Iomega Zip drive uses MS-DOS compatibility mode due to Guest.exe.
Cause:
The GUEST.EXE program supplied by Iomega is a real-mode driver, which allows access to Zip drives in both MS-DOS and Windows 95.
Solution:
Contact Iomega to obtain current Windows 95 driver, or install the protected-mode driver.
Do one of the following:
1) Contact Iomega to obtain the latest Windows 95 driver for the Iomega Zip drive.
2) Install the driver that comes with Windows 95:
NOTE: The Windows 95 CD-ROM or floppy disks will be necessary to copy over the files for the Iomega Zip drive.
a) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
b) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
c) Double-click the 'Add New Hardware' icon. (The 'Add New Hardware Wizard' dialog box appears.)
d) Click 'Next'.
e) Select the 'No' radio button.
f) Click 'Next'.
g) Select 'Other devices' from the 'Hardware types' list box.
h) Click 'Next'.

i) Select 'Iomega' in the 'Manufacturers' list box.
j) Click 'Have Disk...'. (The 'Install From Disk' dialog box appears.)

k) Type the following line in the 'Copy manufacturer's files from' drop-down list box:
<drive>:\drivers\storage\iomega
(where <drive> is the letter of the CD-ROM or floppy drive).

l) Click 'OK'.
m) After all the files are copied, click 'Finish'.
n) When prompted to restart the computer, click 'Yes' for the computer to restart and for the changes to take effect.
